Disassembling the Banks Sidewinder turbo TE06H. If you have horizontal or too much vertical shaft play, you may want to rebuild your turbo before the wheels touch the housing. This will be a multi-part instructional video on how to rebuild, from a kit, your Banks Sidewinder turbo. I'm not responsible if you screw it up! The exhaust oil seal and friction from the rest of the exhaust components hold the exhaust wheel and shaft in the center housing. Gentle and as lightly as possible tapping on the compressor side shaft should free up the exhaust wheel and shaft. Screw down the old compressor wheel nut flush with the shaft end to prevent marring the shaft threads while tapping it out of the center housing.
